So it’s been a while since I’ve posted. I went on a break I didn’t know I was on or needed. But it was good for me. Sorry I didn’t say anything before. But I got some running done and I did finish a manuscript and have started the edit phase this week. For some chapters that means a fourth or fifth pass through it, just so you know.
As an aside, when I write, I generally plow through it, but there are chapters, especially the first few that I rewrite and edit several times during the initial writing stage. Anyway, I’m still working on a title and there will be more info later.
Back to taking a break, well, sometimes you just need to do it. In this case, I didn’t even realize I needed one until I felt like writing again. And then I looked at the blogs and it’s been about two to three weeks since I last posted. Anyway, I’ll try to not let that stuff sneak up on me in the future and post some stuff before hand.
In the meantimes, it rained here in Reno and that’s when the Chalk Creek runs with water. So maybe that’s all I needed was a little rain, both the real and metaphorical to be ready to go back to the keyboard.
So expect more from me this summer. I will be taking a break in July, but I’ll get to that later.
